Streaked rabbitfish - Juvenile

Locally (India) called the "Ora Fish" ( ஒரா மீன் )

The dorsal, anal, and pelvic fins of the streaking rabbit fish have grooves in their spines that contain venom glands. Humans may experience some discomfort as a result of these spines' wounds, but they are rarely serious. The spines are utilised for self-defense. Rabbitfish venom was shown to be similar to stonefish venom in a study of congener venom.

My personal experience has been that it hurts like a wasp sting. People catch fish for meals on the local beaches.
