white
local variation

Over the past twenty years, several P. kribensis variants originating from the Lokoundjé drainage have already found their way into the aquarium hobby, but this particular form displays an additional colour characteristic not seen in the previously known variants. Directly behind the gill cover is a clearly visible white-coloured zone — a feature I have never before observed in any Pelvicachromis variant from the Lokoundjé system. - Michael Keijman
