"Already my mother did decorate aquariums with Philodendrons, letting their roots grow into the aquarium water, as it happens in nature and all fishes benefit from it. They also benefit from roots of floating plants. It is their nature for find shade, protection, food (microorganisms) and where they can spawn and hide their eggs and the larvae can grow up peacefully.
