Willy Bijker: They are all Pelvicachromis pulcher, but 2 different strains. The males who are completely red on the bellyside originate in the Cross River system. Nigeria has no P..kribensis, those are only to be found in Cameroon(those are the former P.taeniatus from there, and the were re-named). Nigeria has only P.pulcher and 2 known forms of P.taeniatus(green and yellow).
