Plants.tank.jp says the plant was introduced into in cultivation in Japan in 2003. Origin unknown, it goes under the name "West of Dayu"; unknown if they are from the same location as T.S. Wang's plant. This is, are they from the same place (Dayu) or are Wang's plants from Dayu and are these plants from someplace west of there.
