Mexico
Laguna Bacalar ("Bacalar Lagoon" in English), or Cenote Azul ("Blue Sinkhole" in English), is in the Quintana Roo state in the Yucatan Penninsula in Mexico and is a medium sized freshwater lake known for the blue coloration of the water.
