Ones found locally appear to be just fine in home aquaria and can be found in all colors. It is considered invasive but unfortunately does not do well at tropical aquarium temperatures but might be ok in outdoor ponds thaty dop not get too hot imn summmer. This is a bit of a shame as it's one of the most brightly colored of all aquatic snails.
