Living at depths of more than 100 metres, they change colour from orange to white when kept in tanks. As far as I know, no one has been able to keep them in a fish tank for a while, but they has already been successfully molted in my tank. It was so hard to bring them back to Shanghai, and now it's all worth it. - Drake Shaw, 2020.

"Freshwater prawns"

Probably the most familiar freshwater shrimp species to most people because they're in nearly every grocery store labeled as "Freshwater Prawns" or "Freshwater Shrimp" or "River Prawns".

In an aquarium they will kill your Oscars, utterly shred your plants and get as large as a small dog. No joke.
