"Dan Dority and I made a couple of trips to the Ferguson just a bit upstream of the crossing of the Stuart Highway about 4 or 6 months ago. We collected some yellow form Melanotaenia australis. Western Rainbowfish are usually red but those who know told me these are also Western Rainbowfish and the Ferguson is part of the Daly River Drainage.
